My favorite summer slaw

A bag of cole slaw mix, big hand full of Craisins, a bottle of Panera breads Fuji Apple vinaigrette

toss it all together chill for a little bit add sunflower seeds and enjoy.

White Nicotiana

I don't think I ever shared last year's white nicotiana. It smells so pretty.

The bed it was in had to be reworked, so trying to get some re-established. It is a favorite of mine. The bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and hummingbird moths love it.

It is the perfect plant for a moonlight garden.

Plant it close to your porch and enjoy its intoxicating scent in the evenings.

I have never seen this available anywhere as a plant, so I grow it from seed.

Fat Cats

We have 12 rescue kitties on the property 

and with help from our local animal shelter and a fix it clinic we have 

been able to keep the little family with a few extras together.

They love laying in this area of the driveway

so, for fun I made this sign.

They run when they see me coming with the camera but 

one day I am going to catch them all laying here together for a picture.

These turn out so good I have really enjoyed them. I put half of them in freezer, 

but I don't think they will be staying there very long.
