Julia Childs roses OH MY!

Thank you Ijon H. Webb Farm Supply for the gorgeous Julia Childs roses. 

There is 11 of them going across the front of the house. 

I even took a petal to Lowes and had paint matched to paint my rockers 

on the front porch that soft creamy faded yellow.

Why is it the plants that are given to you, the ones you sneak a pinch of 

or the ones that you buy from the discount table the ones that always do so well.

I think they feel the love that comes from us working 

a little bit harder to keep them alive... lol

Pulled carrots this morning

OK.... I have never grown carrots before, this was so much fun. 

They are so sweet, I will be making a spot for them from now on in the garden. 

I ate my fill and share with my little bunny neighbors

Have you ever seen a Four O'clock tubular?

I was so surprised the first time I saw one it looked like an elephant's foot.

These are from plants that are about 2 years old. 

They can get many times bigger than what I have here.
