Rain Gauge for 2026
2025 ended with us being in a drought
- January 11th ~ just enough rain to perk up the mustards and collards and to bring in colder weather again. From 81 yesterday to 29 tonight.
- January 18th ~ an all-day slow cold rain
- Week of January 25th was very cold 20's at nights and 40's for our highs a few days.
- January 28 ~ the first week of February has been very cold low teens with wind chills at 5 degrees. We had a ground covering snowfall that stayed around for about 48 hours in some places.
- February 4th woke up to a light rain which we need. Looks like it might hang around all day and into the late evening.
Raindrops have been few and far in between this spring and summer with high temps and feel like temps around 109 - 125 in the second and third week of August. - I am just about ready to tell Jack frost to come on and do his thing!
