Sunday on the porch

The last Sunday in May and we are finally getting a little rain.

Rain, frogs singing, surrounded by God's beauty and blessings.

I want for nothing more and praise our Lord for all of my blessings.

Run to Lowes

Last week I picked up 2 pots of lilies at Lowe's that were not open yet, and wow!

They have exceeded my expectations and some.

They are beautiful!

And they have a lovely soft fragrance. I never find anything good in Lowe's nursery,

but boy did I hit the jackpot with these.

The cream flower is about the size of an Easter lily the dark pink is twice the size.

EDITED TO ADD THAT ONCE THEY STOPPED BLOOMING,

THEY WERE PLANTED BY THE FRONT PORCH.

Spotted Beebalm

How surprised am I to find Monarda Spotted Beebalm 

in the veggie garden this morning.

The plant has been there since the end of last year and through the winter, 

but it just took off recently. It had been hiding behind some basil.

I will be saving the seeds I am going to need more of this everywhere.

Tossing wildflower seeds

We have had almost zero rain since December, 

it is looking like we may be getting some this week so 

time to toss these seeds and see what we get!
